About Seicho

Growing, with care.

Seicho means “growth” in Japanese.

The founder

Hello, I’m Julien.

I founded Seicho on a simple conviction: even the most advanced technology is only worth something if it serves people, with clarity and care. For more than fifteen years, I have designed, built and run IT systems, from the most visible to the most critical.

What drives me above all is meeting people. Understanding a trade, listening to what holds it back, finding the right solution together: that is where everything begins. I love the rigour of engineering as much as the elegance of design, and I am convinced that a beautiful tool is, first and foremost, one that makes life easier.

I am still learning every day, and that is what makes this work so exciting.

The name

Patient, solid growth.

Seicho means “growth” in Japanese. Growth like that of a tree: you prepare the ground, take care of every stage and build to last.

The name brings together two cultures I believe are deeply compatible. Japanese art, with its sense of restraint, of the precise gesture and of respect for what surrounds us. French craftsmanship, with its taste for detail, elegance and work well done. This alliance sums up the way I work.

The journey

Fifteen years of building trust.

  1. 2010

    Epitech

Graduated from Epitech, a school where you learn through projects: research, experiment, deliver.

    Learning by building.
  2. 2010 – 2014

    From luxury to engineering

Four years in very different companies, from the film industry to engineering at Alcatel-Lucent, always at the heart of IT.

    Excellence lies in the details.
  3. 2014 – 2020

    French Air Force

Six years serving in the French Air Force: infrastructure, data, telecommunications, radios and radars.

    Reliability is non-negotiable.
  4. 2020 – 2022

    Bedrock Streaming

Two years working on video streaming platforms, in direct contact with the customer experience.

Care for the customer makes the difference.
  5. 2022 – 2024

    Enedis

Two years with the operator of France’s public electricity distribution network.

    A reliable partner earns trust.
  6. 2024 – 2025

    Groupama

A year on highly technical IT challenges.

    Performance at the highest standard.
  7. Today

    Seicho

All these experiences come together: customer relationships, attention to detail, reliability and trust, in the service of your projects.

The best is yet to be built.

The vision

What I call a successful project.

  • Intuitive

You can use it without a manual.

  • Simple

The opposite of over-engineering: only what serves.

  • Fast and efficient

Every second counts, on every screen.

  • Beautiful and memorable

When the project calls for it, it leaves an impression.

  • Reliable

    It works exactly as intended.

  • On time

Delivered on schedule, with no extra cost.

When all of this comes together, that is a 100% success. It is what I aim for, on every project.

The ambition

Build step by step, and think big.

I created Seicho to build a company in my own image and take it far. I love taking a step back: thinking strategically, linking every technical choice to a business’s goals, anticipating what comes next.

My ambition is simple: for every client to recommend Seicho. A reputation is earned project after project, through the quality of the work and the trust placed in it. That is the only growth that truly matters.

Roots

From the Paris region to west Lyon.

  1. Paris region
  2. Évreux
  3. Paris
  4. Salon-de-Provence
  5. Chaponost

Originally from the Paris region, with Brittany close to my heart, I have lived in Évreux, Paris and Salon-de-Provence, and the Air Force took me across much of France. I came to the Lyon area for a while, learned to love it and put down roots here.

A father of two, I now grow Seicho from Chaponost.
